There are a number of awesome Health Apps out on the market, but I’m going to list my personal Top 3 and what I use them for. I hope that my findings will help you on your journey to better health!
My Top 3 FREE Health Apps:
#1 My Fitness Pal (MyFitnessPal.com)
MyFitnessPal is an awesome app and website for your smartphone, tablet or laptop. It is a FREE app and a place to track all of your food, water, and exercise to help you on your journey to better health. You really have to download it (for FREE) and see it to believe it!
My Fitness Pal describes their app like this: “Reach your weight loss goals with MyFitnessPal, the best calorie counter on the iPhone. Set a daily calorie goal and record your daily food and exercise to make sure you stay on track. Then watch the pounds come off!”
Besides an awesome resource of built in food, a scanner (to automatically add calories) and a straight forward back-end- it also is an exception social site. You can add friends on there, similar to Facebook, but it’s private. You’re only sharing info with people in MyFitnessPal who are also on the weight loss/healthy journey like yourself. This is my all time favorite health app and I highly recommend you try it out!
